Nick is best known for his work with Steve Hackett from 1978 to 1989, providing his keyboard talents to at least twelve of Hackett’s albums to date, as well as touring Europe, the UK and the US.

Nick's professional musical career began in 1976 with the cult symphonic rock ensemble The Enid, followed by two years with the progressive rock band Autumn.

He has worked with many diverse artistes such as China Crisis, Walter Becker, Renaissance, George Martin, John Hackett, Mungo Jerry, Johnny Mars, Cilla Black, Brian May, Richie Havens, Bonnie Tyler, Mike Batt, Classix Nouveaux, David Essex, Pete Bardens, Duncan Browne, Chris Rea, and Colin Blunstone.

Nick is currently working as a solo recording artist, having released five progressive rock albums.
At the time of writing, his sixth prog rock oeuvre is well under way.

Nick helped Guy out with the arrangement of the song "The Cosmic Score (Heaven Song Pt. I)", playing all the keys (bar one solo from Sean) on the final track.

"Nick helped me realise my song in a way that I would never have done if left to my own devices and so I am very grateful for his patience and skill in bringing it to life" (Guy)
