The Spirit of Winter, which I here personify as a Dark Sprite living in a
dark cave waiting to come out and spread the Season.
The 'Fairy' is proud of his non-human birth but there is also an air of
regret of his having to hide away in his lair all year waiting.
The middle section tries to bring out an almost over enthusiastic response
to Winter, but there is always the belief that they will
not win in the end!
